...for srs. Just had an eye exam, and they put something to relax the muscles around my iris. So now my pupils are temporarily dilated for the next two hours, rendering me blinded with any light source I see. Ugh.

But seriously, this exam is leaving me pissed off at the last people who gave me an eye exam and prescribed me my current glasses. Okay, fine, it's partially our fault for not changing my glasses every two years or so-but we didn't know! ><;;; It was only until a routine check up before getting college immunizations showed that the difference in vision between my left eye and my right eye got ridiculously larger than it once had been. Apparently my current prescription (which was supposed to help mend the difference) totally unscrewed the balance even further over the past six years that I've had these glasses.

I've been diagnosed with four different issues with my eyes (the only three I can remember are myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism), and they've found one cataract in my left eye that, while it doesn't seem to be interfering with my vision, is just there and quite possibly had been there since birth. There's also scarring in my left eye that has apparently either been there since birth or was there due to me falling down the stairs when I was younger-and the other people did not mention this at all! Pissed off I am at the quality of providers. My fucking god.

Anyways, on a lighter note, I'm getting new glasses at the end of the week. The frames are narrower and less round, and while they seem less childish, I'm kinda "meh" about 'em. :/ The only reason I'm not using the same frame as before is because it's been bent and keeps losing screws and stuff.

EDIT: wtf. Everyone who's asked me about why I seem so out of it and I explained to them about the eye drop treatment seems to know about it already and/or have had it before on their eye exams on an either regular or irregular basis. This is my first time having said treatment in all eighteen years of my life from any eye exam provider. wtf is up with this quality treatment? or is this not a standard diagnostic procedure or something?

Ugh.

I don't want to find myself wanting to puke and waking up on the bathroom floor at one in the morning like some sort of drunkard ever again.
