I have to say that I enjoyed reading your theories. They're very well thought out and show much love to the series ^^
I agree with starnotes for the title. It could just be a climatic title that they use for the episode, like "The battle for the fate of the Earth!" or something to that extent. I don't think that it's really going to be the end of the series; just a title specific to the events of the episode.
Although, I can't really imagine what plot would follow the DS arc. But I haven't thought that much into it and honesty forgot most of the history behind the Yliaster from the earlier episodes XD;
I like the idea of Yuusei being or possessing the key, especially with what we were told from Rudger about Yuusei's name history. That he was named that way so that he could create bonds with other people. Why not make bonds with the underworld? That could be a stretch, but maybe do-able? XD There have been weirder things out there in this show. LIKE CARD GAMES ON MOTORBIKES XD
As for the King, it taking the form of Fudou-papa would be epic because it just would, but now I have a feeling that it's someone else maybe. Right now it's that guy that Rudger meet when he visited the Nazca Lines that I'm thinking about for the King. The shady guy seemed to know what he was doing giving Rudger that information AND knowing the birthmark on his arm, that eventually lead up to Zero Reverse that separated the cities only to connect the Underworld with the Real world.

My idea was more like the King would use his bonds to his advantage, and use them to spread...(which is why I imagine the EBG boss to be the Tree mark, it's roots would drain those sorrowful feelings from Yuusei, because he is the one who connects everyone, the one who empathizes with and recieves everyone's pain. The tree spreads by growing and feeding.) But yours could work as well.
Mmm, now I'm kind of excited to see what's behind the DS door and what the writer's have in store for us. *bounces excitedly*
OMG! A tree EBG would be AMAZING! I'd love to see how the animators would come up with that XD And I like that idea too, though it would mean that Yuusei will have to be plantraeped again. XD But a tree is more symbolic, plus if done right, it could add some good character development for poor Yuu.
XD I did too, until you mentioned him above. I'm so curious about who he is though cause he just kind of popped out of nowhere very randomly. I hope he does have something more to do with the plot and doesn't leave as randomly as he came in XD;
