LJ, I hate you for deleting half of the massive post of art and forcing me to start over.
IT TOOK ME AN HOUR TO MAKE IT, YOU JERK. and it's late and I feel miserable now and just *cries forever* you just took out randomly huge bites of my post and it's horribly mangled and the coding is forever lost and-and-and god i hate you so much right now
First one is a quick experiment I did with pen. Generally I do a combination of ink and pencil, but when I was inspired to try and mimic the chibistyle of one of![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
somatosensation's scanned doujin, I drew this little thing without any pencil, only ink. My cousin rather liked the effect, so I'm posting it now since I neglected to last artpost.
Next one is another attempt with just ink but this one didn't come out as good, I think. The inking makes them look all chubby and wrong and Yuusei's and Ryuusei's eyes and faces just look horribly stretched. :U Ah well, it's this adorkable scene so yeah, I still like it just for that.
Next two drawings are the horrifying Pretty Magical Girl Polar Star Gods Thor and Loki. I never got around to drawing Odin because I kept putting him off and then I burnt my hand and now I don't feel like doing him. B|
At least Loki looks like he's enjoying it.
Silly Gaiaonline injoke is silly. Basically there were these two characters andhemntjrseth and mistressminako wanted me to make a HoboSen!Placido (HoboPlacisen). I did, along with a Hoboseer!Yuusei (Hoboseersei).
...The line doesn't really make any sense unless you look at Hobosen and Hoboseer.
The next picture is more Twins/Pichyuu parenting silliness. In which Pichyuu wants to learn English.

The next picture is what happens when there's an OOC event. It's very horrifying.
Next picture is more silliness from YGODressing IRC chat about bees. And Beesei. And bees.

ygodressing's Sailor Senshi event. I couldn't pass up the chance to mess with kizunaprotector and his own transformation sequence.

Alfalfa had gotten some nice soaps, and she had gotten a cinnamon roll scented one that looked like you could eat it. And then she took a bath and she said she smelled like cinnamon and I told her to change her name to Cinnamonsei. And she did. And so I drew this.

Next is a crossover AU between 5D's and Pokemon that I've been sitting on for like...ages. :V Black and White more or less finally pushed me to put the idea out and of course I get encouraged to DOOO EEEET by you crazy peopleYOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE dfdslfd. So I tried to make the Pokemon Breeder!Yuusei design like I was threatening I would do for ages (and yeah, I made him a Breeder as opposed to a Trainer because I figured he'd prefer raising them to making them fight. Not that he isn't a skilled battler, he just has higher priorities than battling. this was my impression of him before season 3 8V). It didn't come out very well. I think the apron makes him look like a dork.
and yes. I made proflies for TWO of his mons already. Because I am a dork. 8V.
Gigigear is awesome and there needs to be more art for him. B|
Pidgey was the closest mon I could think of for the token cutie Roadrunner shut uuuuup
oh yeah, and here's that picture of derp I drew in the dark that impressed the kids at the temple the other day. BV 'Twas a picture ofKizuna yes, him again and basically what he looks like when he transforms. It was intended to be a cross between Denpa-Henkan and Synchro Summoning, but I can't draw the rings for shit. :V
Oh, and the real reason I made this post today: Today's the birthday of the man behind the monsters, good ol' Kazuki Takahashi. I already made a post over at PtDC, but for those who didn't see, here's the pic I drew.
So yeah, just say what you liked and didn't like and offer any crit if you want IF YOU CAN EVEN GET THIS MASSIVE POST OF DERP TO LOAD :B.

(does it make me a bad person that the first thing I thought when I looked at Pokemon breeder!Yusei (which, come to think of it, is what I think of whenever Pokemon breeding is brought up in general) was "ahahaha, perv just wants to watch them have sex!" XD)
needs moar not Yusei...... wait. Yea. XD I LOVE THE WAY YOU DRAW OTHER CHARACTERS TOO! You need to expand more often. ^^; ♥ETA: so I don't sound like a total asshole. There is some honest crit beyond my ridiculous bias in that statement. I used to draw a lot when I was in college, and I know how easy it is to fall into a rut where you're pretty much drawing the same thing over and over and over again. (my joy of choice was #17 from DragonBall XD) Varying things up is good. It makes you stretch beyond what you're comfortable with and try new techniques, which ultimately leads to more improvement. I'd LOVE to see you do more GX stuff myself.

I see improvement, especially in your faces (and eyes) and how you draw Yusei's hair, they've all got more shape to them! Also, more dynamic poses yeaaaah. And using ink is pretty daring! It forces you to not dwell on mistakes, that's for sure. XD;
Also seconding Immicolia - more Pokemon and GX please. 8D; /biaaaas
And I do have some crits. :o Loki's pretty great, it just looks like the thumb on his left hand is on the wrong side. I think it's because of how you have some of his other fingers positioned - we should be able to see more of his palm and his pointer and middle finger.
Now for some redlines (I apologize for using MS Paint, Photoshop's been eating up waaay too much memory though lately :/):
Main Points: The proportions (fingers too thin and pointy, arms too long, fell too close to his knees/legs too short). I couldn't draw his legs how I wanted, not enough room. D: But, you get the idea? ;o;
MP: Same issue of proportions with the first. Erf, I don't like how I drew the one facing forward, made his left shoulder too short. xD; Sorry. :c Just know his shoulders were too wide on yours.
MP: Just a quickie to show you that the jawline connects to the ear, it does not go behind it.
...I'll stop nitpicking now. D|;
