and so it's duel time. Shooting Star manages to avoid being absorbed by Wisel using it's monster effect...
...and then it's Yuusei's turn.
Shooting Star Dragon's effect: Pick up the first five cards on top of your deck, and depending on how many tuners you pick up, you can attack that many times this turn. And because Yuusei runs a deck that's like...half tuner monsters...
...oh as if he needed any help he pleads through the mark for support from his friends. And they give it to him: for each mark, he draws a card. Typically, all five of them are Tuner Monsters.

Man, as much as Yusei's epic Stu-ness pisses me off, I would totally forgive it just this once if Placido really stayed ded from lack of a lower body. Just because I'm pretty sure he pisses me off a lot more.

WHY IS IT EVERY TIME SHERRY SHOWS UP AND DOES SOMETHING MARGINALLY COOL THEY GO AND RUIN IT BY HAVING HER GET CHOKED AND HER CHEST FLAUNTED IN THE MOST TACKY FASHION EVER? UGH! I think this is what has pretty much turned me off of her character entirely. It's just... ick. Go away Sherry. Just so I don't have to deal with that skeeviness.

I'm still trying to decide if this one is worth my time or if it's just going to anger me too much. Honestly, if this doesn't improve markedly with Jack's epic Peruvian adventures (and WHY is Yusei the only one invited along with him for this trip?) I am so done.

Except he probably won't. They won't have a main villain be perfectly out of commission this early in the season or show him in the final shot as if he was some sort of threat. Jose and Luciano didn't seem all that devastated by his "death" either (then again they're a pair of assholes so). They'll probably fix him straight up and maybe make him into Placido 2.0 or something.

I'm wondering though, perhaps Zone's form depends on the actions being taken in the real world? Much like how the Crimson Dragon and the Earthbound Gods (You know... Earthbound Gods... *snerk*) are created from the Momentum... but that would mean Zone and the Circuit are connected, as the Circuit is also dependent on the duels that play out on the Highway. Of course, the Circuit apparently reveals "God's location", which is obviously Zone's plane, so...

Also, Bommer is a robot from the preview? His head seems to have screws in it.

Ahahahahaha. Oh god. I think I can safely say that Jose continues to be the only thing about this season's plot that I am actually finding somewhat cool.

As opposed to the one thing about this season that was pure, unadulterated, awesome... which was Pearson and Bolger. Because I am never going to stop going :D :D :D :D over those episodes ever. XD
