• boring duel is boring but at least it's not a Yuusei duel
• but anyways Crow starts rallying and manages to counterattack with Arms Wing
• 
• and declares he is gonna defend Pearson's will or something like that
• idk what he said but this screencap was epic
• and then Bolger/Mohawk pulls out
• 
• BLOOOOOOOD MEPHISSSSTTTTT
• 
• ...which I cannot take seriously.
• 
• I mean
• 
• just look at that face.
• 
• ...okay now that's just terrible.
• Anyways, it looks like every time someone sets a trap or magic face down, Blood Mephist does direct damage to the opponent equal to some arbitrary amount times the number of facedowns on the field
• and of course, Blood Mephist is one of those S00PER SPESHUL cards that somehow make their damage real
• Of course, Crow does the appropriate amount of "Wait, WHAT?"
• Not!Spoiler: Bolger's the one who killed Pearson, gaiz.
• Turns out Pearson was approached by city peeps to sell them his engine's designs...
• 
• and he turned them down, much to the shock and horror of Bolger who wanted him to seal the deal.
• Cue Bolger dueling Pearson over the right to the plans...and costing Pearson his life.
• one thing-wasn't Sateite a post-apocalyptic wasteland?
• That nobody gave a shit about?
• so why would anyone from the city give a damn about an engine some Satellite punk was working on?
• cue angry ranting and Crow starting to lose the duel because of Bolger-Mohawk's effect damage deck...
• and just when Crow's starting to loose hope...
• 
• ...AWWWWW~ JUST...AWWWW~
• that is so precious
• now who brought them here-
• 
• aha.
• 
• and of course it give's Crow the strength to keep on going and he yells out something about how he loves and cares for his kidlets and he's gonna live up to Pearson's will of caring for them
• or something.
• 
• Cue glowy Signer mark and a sudden confirmation of a card hidden in the engine-Black Feather Dragon.
• Which Crow promptly summons.
• 
• ...ffffffffff looks like a snake/centipede with wings
• 
• but either way it looks gorgeous in that fugly winged snake ish way
• 
• When it's summoned, Yuusei's and Jack's marks start glowing too...which causes Jack to declare that BFD is the Fifth Dragon. Lies. It's Aiapec posessing the fifth dragon to use as a portal into the underworld shut up
• And it's effect...I keep hearing people say stuff about counters and shit...so I'm guessing every time effect damage is applied, Black Feather Dragon cancels the damage and is attached with some kind of counter that lowers its attack points...
• And Crow starts invoking this cycle-he places a facedown, causing Mephist's effect to activate, causing BFD to negate it. Returns the trap to his hand to activate some new  Black Feather's effect and special summon it from the grave, causing more effect damage, which BFD negates and then the other Black Feather is destroyed for some reason. Place the card facedown again and it keeps going and going...
• 
• fffffffff. Every time it lowers it's attack points/gains counters/whatever it is, some feathers start changing from white and black to a black hinted with glowing red...gorrrgeousssssss
• And all through this, instead of victory music...we get this melancholy tune as Crow keeps going on and on about Pearson...and as Black Feather Dragon's ATK points finally hit zero, it's like some sort of metaphor of Pearson dying...I think. 
• 
• and then the second ability of BFD activates! It can transfer its counters to another monster on the field...which means that Blood Mephist's attack goes down while BFD's returns to normal...
• 
• eww that is an uuuugly face of agony there
• And the attack wins the game.
• 
• Bolger seriously looks like he's regretting his actions there...I still don't feel sorry for him though. asdlfjdslfkjdlfjdfkjdslfjdsf.
• 
• The episode ends with Crow and Jack and Yuusei visiting Pearson's grave again, Crow saying some words while holding BFD...still with that same melancholy tune playing.

BFD is awesome. Ugly and awesome at the same time. And god, it needs to be Aiapec's vessel or something, I'll cry if it isn't. Writers can't just make a dragon that looks so much like KoU and do nothing with it. Can they?

The riding outfits are awesome too. Or at least Crow's is. XD

I dunno, as much as I love that Team Signer moment, it kind of makes me fear that Aki might not end up in Sherry's team after all. And that would be a real shame, because she really needs more action. D:
