I STOLE THIS FROM SHIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
You know how sometimes people on your friends list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when were they working THERE? Since when were they dating HIM/HER? Since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you should already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

1. first name
Oh, I don't like giving out my real name on the internet. But for the longest time I was known as Artemis Ignitan, or "Artie" on the internet, before I started gradually switching names. Artie was a name for an OC I had created as a "self-insert" and I'd imagine her in the Pokemon universe whenever I played the video games (fine, I was like thirteen, real immature, okay? I'm over that stage.) "Northwind Gale" was originally a caption for my Suicune avatar in the Serebii.Net forums, and eventually I started adopting that as my new internet persona, and changed my internet avvie to fit-I made her look more like me instead of an ideal oc. So now people more often call me "Gale", my internet last name (or for more fun, "Gayaru" since that's how it would be pronounced in Japan), although I do get the occasional "North". :D

18, lovelies. Some of you have seen my birthday on my FF.Net profile. Please don't discuss it.
3. location
East coast of America. Some of you have already guessed my state over in chat. Please don't discuss it.
4. occupation
College full time student, freshman.
5. partner
No rl partner, and while I do have friends on the internet I talk to more than others, I can't exactly say we're "partners"...unless you mean "Partners in Crime"~~~~, in which I'd say Starry and Icey. :D

7. brothers/sisters
A 15 year old brother who acts more like a two year old since he's autistic
A 12 year old brother who's asthmatic and as a result is spoiled as fuck-but we share a lot of the same interests
A 10 year old brother who's actually pretty normal, might actually turn out to be smarter than I was at his age, if he wasn't so damn lazy, and who gets along with me the best out of the three (when the 12 year old isn't encouraging him to be an asshole).

Lots and lots of fish. Both in a tank and in a pond in our front yard. They're so sweet~<3

Oh I get along with my parents pretty well most of the time.
My mom's pretty cool, she's kinda like an older sister sometimes (and it doesn't help that I'm taller than she is and get mistaken for or joked about being her younger sister in public) and we can usually find a lot of things to chuckle about. She doesn't really get my morbid sense of humor, though, and often accuses me of being lazy because I'm much more laid back than she is. She's obsessive over having a clean house to nearly the point of OCPD, while I'm a slob who really couldn't care less as long as I can find everything. She's also the one putting pressure on me to do better in school, since I'm the first born of our family, and the oldest of all the first-generation Americans in our extended family (yes, my parents are immigrants) so I'm a role model for both my brothers and all our little cousin. Not to mention that our family is the center of attention in our cultural community b/c my mom's brother is the head monk of the Buddhist temple that acts as our cultural centerpoint, so...I'm basically being watched by EVERYONE. And she never, EVER, fails to remind me of that or to remind me that we're short on money because of everybody except me and my youngest brother being subject to medical bills for one illness or another. *sigh* She puts a lot of pressure on me, but I love her all the same.
My dad's just as laid back as I am-but he's also a hard worker. You could call him a jack of all trades-he can usually figure out his way through something even without near to no experience in the area. He's pretty damn awesome. He's also really charismatic-he can totally strike up a conversation with a stranger and leave them with the feeling that they've made a friend for life-or at least found someone they can totally depend on. We don't get as much time to talk with each other as I do with my mom, since he's always off doing some job or other, but when we do talk, it's usually amiable conversation-even when he's giving me a lecture I don't feel as bad as if my mom was giving it. He's an awesome dad (and I find it amusing that I've been told I'm exactly like his mother in looks and attitude, since he apparently gets most of his traits from her. Fucking sweet.).
11. who are some of your closest friends?
On the internet, Starry, Icey, Nina, and a whole lot of other people I'm RP-ing with and are getting to know better. :3
IRL, I'm the sort of person who has friends that are few and far between. More of them happen to be boys if they're around my own age...and most of my really close friends are younger than me. I get along better with children than I do people my own age, because it's hard for me to find people IRL who'd admit to liking the same stuff I do. ;A;
