Kiryuu watched as the last of his teammates walked away from him, his figure illuminated by the setting sun.
There was a despondency in his gaze that Kiryuu didn't want to recognize, instead masking it with an insane grin, a cocked gun ready to shoot...or backfire.
With Yuusei leaving, he was alone. There was nothing left of their group.
That was what any reasonable person would say.
To Kiryuu, everyone was still together. They wouldn't separate so easily. They had never lost. They still had so much more to gain. There was no reason for them to leave. They would return.
Crow had been the first one to break away. Kiryuu wasn't worried. Crow's jubilant attitude wasn't something that could be kept down for long. It was only a matter of waiting until he was back to his normal self.
Jack had left soon after. Kiryuu wasn't worried about him, either. It was hard to earn his trust, but he was fiercely loyal to those he found worthy of his attention. He'd be back soon enough.
Yuusei had been the last to leave. If Kiryuu wasn't worried about Jack of Crow, there was no way he'd be worried about Yuusei. Yuusei was always there, even when he wasn't. With all his preaching about bonds and whatnot, there was no way he'd eat his own words and turn his back on his nakama.
This was a temporary depression. Things would look up soon enough. Even the brightest star in their sky, the sun, which lit up everything in its brilliance, set every night. Darkness still came every night.
Kiryuu looked out over the broken wall of the top floor of the building he stood, smiling. As if to prove his point, the sun continued to fall, coating everything with a dim haze of pink and orange.
Yes, the sun fell every night. But it rose again.
And so would Team Satisfaction. They would rise again like the sun, and light up the Satellite with their brilliance, driving out the darkness that was Security.
Kiryuu watched and plotted as the sun fell behind the horizon.

And then he'd just sit there, convincing himself that he isn't sad because there's no reason to. Because they'll be back and everything will be like it used to and he's not alone. He tells himself so till he believes it.

and what are you talking about Divine would totally be Wickhamno subject
He's sleazy enough, yes. I was strongly considering this. :DDDDDDDDDDno subject
No, it's not even really that. Divine is the only one with the combination of charisma and being honestly hideous enough to be able to pull Wickham off. Kiryu is just sort of crazy, not someone who would kick puppies and smile.
Also Caroline should be Aki, Jane should be Ruka, and honestly no one really fits as Yuusei. Whoops. Fitzwilliam is probably the closest though.

As an alternate, Aki would fit decently as Elizabeth and Yuusei would fit as post-letter Darcy.
Trufax: all of my otps are chosen based on who are the most similar to Darcy/Elizabeth.

True, although my brain refuses to put anyone except Jack in Darcy's shoes. ^^;
pffft that's awesome. Ahahaaaaha

Jack can pull off pre-letter Darcy but he hasn't really been HEY LET'S BE NICE TO YOU HERE LET ME SHOW YOU AROUND MY HOUSE AND INTRODUCE MY SISTER AND HERE, INTRODUCE YOUR FRIENDS TO ME. He just... doesn't really do that.
For Yuusei you might be able to pull off pre-letter, as he can go pretty stiff and standoffish when he's not in his element, and like I said - he's pretty darn close to post-letter Darcy anyway. The real problem would be that he'd just be sort of more distant, not all condescending.
Yeah, I didn't even realize it at first. I was just going along one day, doing my thing, and then I went 'hm, well would you look at how similar these guys are?' and then I started looking at everything and the lightbulb started to brighten.

Haaah, you've put more thought into it than I have. ^^ I'm liking this a lot.
pfff well Darcy/Elizabeth are an interesting couple with a good development and subtle change of character so shipping things that model after them is a-okay in my book. :D

I put too much thought into everything.
Everything.
lol well it just sort of happens, it's like my subconscious says 'oh hey look they're like Elizabeth/Darcy OKAY SHIPPING NOW.'
They are my real otp forever. :)
