5D's 67

And yeah, I'm just getting lazier and lazier with these posts cuz I'm lettting summer break get to me...

Anyways, kidlings are having fun at school-and they are just sooooo adorable that I just want to hug them all. And Rua loses again. To TENPEI, of all people. Can't the boy win once? D:

Aki smiling is just...well, it's still rather jarring. I dunno. I kinda miss her alternate persona.

Then it switches to the new engine hijinks and somehow the cards inside the D-Wheel just get blown out all over the place, which leads to amusing reactions from Jack and Crow and more bitching from Zola (hur hur, if this becomes a running gag in this season I will be sooo delighted). Then the kidlings come in, and Crow (after bitching from Jack) agrees to let them stay and they all pick up the scattered cards.

Divine-clone (who's name is Sly, bawwwwwwwl adorable) spots Stardust on the floor and attempts to pocket it, but Yuusei inconvienltly shows up at the wrong time for 'im and he's forced to give it back. Apparently he wants Stardust baaad. Because he totally wants to be sparkly like his father/idol/lookalike.

And then the teacher (who looks like he's related to MC and is ridiculously spazzy-love it, him and his voice) is attempting to expel students for using low level cards, which is all the kids you see in the opening! If I remember right, the lolli is Patty and the Taka-lookalike is Bob/Rob, and of course, the other kids, as we all know, are Tenpei, Sly, Rua, and Ruka. Only then Aki storms into the classroom and starts lecturing him, and then Yuusei follows in soon after (because the principal talks to him while he's working all his lonesome or something) holding a toolbox for some weird reason (and from some shots, it rather looks like a purse which amuses the hell out of me). And then he's the one who challenges the teacher (and while I understand where they're coming at, what with Yuusei using quite a few lower-level monsters himself, and his motto that "nothing in the world is useless", it's kinda irritating that the main character is dueling again. Why not let one of the kids or Aki do it?).

So, you see Yuusei chatting with the kids in the distance while Aki and some teacher's assitant that kinda looks like Anzu chat, then there's the duel. Straight on his first turn, spazzy teacher (who I'm loving, actually) summons THREE ANTIQUE GEAR GOLEMS (yay, hail to GX and Chronos-sensei~!) Yuusei uses several low-level cards, including a Hanewata (Winged Watapawn, awwwww!) and something that looks like an acolyte of the Crimson Dragon or something, and a little Dragon Beast thing. Then he summons Stardust, immediately sacrifices it to bring all the low level ones to the field, and then combines them with a spell card to destroy them, deal damage, and win. Yay. And apparently, the cards he used to beat teacher were from the students-Hanewata was Patty's, the Dragon thing was Bob/Rob's, and the Acolyte whatever was Sly's. So then teacher is humbled (spazzing too) and we see Zola and the Principal talking to each other, which is just "what"-inducing. And then we get to see the kids all happy because they're getting to stay in the Academia and they're being all cute with Daddy!Yuusei (who is actually sorta playing with them, adorable). Except for Sly, because he still wants to get his hands on Stardust for some mysterious reason. :/

PREVIEW: MARTHAAAAAAA! SAIGAAAAA! YEEEEEEY! :D

We also get Crow running into booby traps shaped like Scrap-Iron Scarecrow and pitfall traps-hilarious and awesome. And they're being triggered by this cranky looking old man who then duels Crow on one of those old-style platforms from like, Duelist Kingdom. :D

Yusei continuing to hog the spotlight and sticking his nose where it doesn't belong (like Judai used to) annoys me, but I suppose it had a purpose, even if that purpose was to only show how awesomely vaguely sinister Mini-D Sly could be. And for what it's worth, Sly officially owns my soul. Such a surly, adorable, little Divine-alike. ♥

I am trying to figure out what Saiga is still doing in Satellite.... or more, what Saiga is still doing hanging out at Martha's place. Naturally, my brain immediately went to the "he's tapping that" place, because I'm a terrible person. But ohgod, there is no possible way next week is going to be bad. Especially if we get some Jack and Crow bitching at each other too. ♥

Sly!icon is adorable. :D

Pffff. It's bad enough that I ship Ushio/Martha and Schmitt/Martha. Now my brain's going to the Saiga/Martha place, which is lulz inducing enough. lD But still, I'm happy that we get to see them both. :D :D :D :D

Jack is totally gonna bitch at Crow for being "stupid enough to fall in those damn traps", or something along those lines. :D :D I love those two together so much.
