5D's 62
And the episode starts off where we left off last-the giant honking condor mark in the sky. Jack and Crow ride up on their D-Wheels to save the day gape at it uselessly like the rest of the bunch.
The Ol' Momentum crater starts glowing like crazy and then all of a sudden...
THIS.
...There are no words. But apparently this is the Mekai-ou, the King of the Underworld. Or as someone on PtDC eloquently put it:
So anyways...Ushio asks a question, he gets answered/scoled by Mikage, Ruka has a brief second talking to Kuribbon, and all the Signer Marks light up pretty.

Oh yeah, guys, while you're stuck on Satellite there, it kinda sorta looks like the Mekai-oh wants to eat Neo Domino. Better get your asses in gear, and quick. What? You don't know how to get to Satellite? Don't worry!

So, everybody ends up at the base of...Godwin's basement temple? Except that the temple is no longer in the basement and is actually protruding from the ground, haha. And then Godwin comes out and starts talking all smarmy-like, calmly points out the Mekai-ou and then proudly displays his brother's arm in a jar.
And then we get this:

Mmmhm. Godwin's got the Condor Mark, baby. Also, this:

Oh hai thar Man with the Two Gods. l3

And then the Tower of Terror becomes even taller, forcing the group to evacuate to a bridge. And then here it comes, Godwin challenges the Signers to a Riding Duel!
Also:

I'm really starting to see the resemblance to his brother now. Haha.
Well, Godwin challenged the Signers, but Yuusei and Jack are the only Signers with D-Wheels. Also, Crow just decides to jump in, becasue he has Black Bird, and he wants to follow the dream of the man that jumped Daedalus Bridge.
Also, this is epic:

They're dueling on the condor racetrack in the sky. Hoshit.
So, Crow, Jack, and Yuusei vs. Godwin! Duel Start!

Also, Godwin is King of the Rapefaces.
Anybody who was hoping to see Godwin on a D-Wheel like me just got their hopes dashed. He's standing at a duel platform on the giant temple, which apparently has a built in duel arena. Which is pretty effing sweet and makes you wonder whether the natives could see into the future. Because really. Nazca temples with duel arenas. Shit.

Just so everybody knows what everybody starts out with and the order everybody's going in. Everybody gains a Speed Counter when somebody ends their turn, so we'll be gaining Speed Counters pretty damn quick.
Crow is too fucking excited for this.
When it's Yuusei's turn, of course he's going to ask what the hell Godwin is thinking. So we get loads of Rexposition.
First bit is boring. It's flashbacks from 57 or 58 whatever I can't remember the episode number. It's the same story Rudger told.
Then we see what happened between Rex vs. Rudger.

...Rexy lost.
...Only then Rudger finds out that he lost on purpose.
...Yeah. The slash writes itself.

...Did I mention that Rex is the King of Rapefaces?

No, seriously.

And here his face looks horribly stretched.
Anyways, the condor comes to claim him as a result of that duel.

Here's what I can gather from that little flashback. Rex lost on purpose so that he could gain both the powers of a Signer and a Dark Signer. He did this so that he could control both the Crimson Dragon and the Mekai-ou, effectively making him a god. Because of this, he asks Rudger to spare Yuusei in their duel, so that he could gather all the Signers to control the Crimson Dragon.

...Rudger himself looks rather shocked. Could this mean that when Rudger claimed he couldn't let Yuusei leave that...he was trying to stop his brother? It's a thought.
Anyways, on Godwin's first turn, he peforms both a Synchro Summon to summon a Sun Dragon, and a Dark Synchro Summon to summon a Moon Dragon that immediately "sets" (I assume it went out of play). And I could go on and on and on about the symbolism of it all but I'll just post pictures of them instead haha.

Also, the final battle music is epic. It's a lovely violin piece that I want the track for, right now.

Ahahaha Crow. You are not taking this duel seriously at all. Lookityou, scolding Godwin like he's a naughty little boy~
Anyways, Crow pulls off a manuver that carves out a good portion of Godwin's life points, only to have more than half of his taken out as well.
Also, DAICE. AHAHAHA. I LOVE ROMANIZATION SOMETIMES.

Then Godwin pulls off the mark-stealing manuver and takes the other four marks. So now he has the mark of the condor on his back and the Crimson Dragon on his front. Oh god.

PREVIEW FOR 63:

Also, Jack/Carly shippers get one more moment.
...wait why is Crow not on the track? Ohgodohgodohgod.
