In the middle of it, our teacher showed us a video of one of those cheesy chemistry songs that are stupid and cheesy and stupid and somehow never really get the point across.

The video was clearly made in that Valve video-maker that people keep making those TF2 videos or something.

I am laughing really hard right now.

Oh my god. You mean Garry's Mod? (which as the name suggests is just a Source engine mod given legitimate status) Were they actually using Valve's models, like the Half Life or Portal ones or something because I don't think I could have stopped laughing if I saw something like that. XD (I don't even want to imagine the TF2 ones being used. That's just too hilarious to think about)
