Totally weird side point: I've been aimlessly poking at this fic about Bolger and Rick and the day the Machine Emperors started blowing shit up (since as far as I can tell it apparently did not happen all that far into the future but who the fuck actually knows?) and Bolger almost loses an eye in it.
