I... I think I love you. haha DAMN that was good. And here I thought you were going to just turn Yusei into a Dark Signer. The... the combination of him taking on both marks, and ALMOST but not quite walking the path that Godwin tried... and with the code name, covered face, and trying to eradicate emotions from his being, it's almost like he's slowly turning into Zone. The physical decay was a nice touch too. The blood-draining scene was heartwrenching. It was both nauseating to read about the texture of the blood, and tragic how the action was symbolic of what Yusei was doing to himself emotionally.

Oh man. Never stop breaking my heart, ok? Because you do it so well. I liked Godwin's chessire cat grin at Yusei's demand that he build the bridge between Satellite and Neo Domino City if this all goes well. Knowing that Godwin was the man who originally tried to build the Daedalus Bridge adds a nice bit of... "Why yes, thank you for twisting my arm here o ho ho" and "Making selfless demands to improve other people's lives, how unexpectedly expected of you Fudo Yusei." It is late. My eloquence is failing. But really, fantastic chapter. I'm glad you linked this to me, because this went WAY beyond what I was expecting, in all the best ways. <3
