5D's 64
No screenies this week either, folks. D: Our computer's down because my dad's rennovating the office room. It's also why I'm late with this.
The animation is sooooo pretty~! I think it's a Hara ep, so that explains it. But Rexy looked soo beautifull~ And the music! I still love that violin piece. lD
Jack wipes out pretty early. He used a trap with chains to trap Sun Dragon Inti, so Rex used Condor's effect on him to lower his life points and negate it. And then the Hellgod of all things attacks the field with some kind of beam which hits both Jack and Yuu-but only Jack wipes out, in Ragdoll fashion.
Rexy then uses the effect on Yuusei so that his life points are also one.
Then Yuu manages to Synchro Summon Stardust, and uses traps left by Crow and Jack on the field to destroy Inti and prevent the moon dragon from coming back. Hence, Rex can no longer exchange attacks.
Then, Rexy and Yuu have a heart to heart chat, and Yuu mentions something about Rudger being in Rex's heart. D: And then we see Rexy driving off the bridge, and he's all reaching a hand out to the sun and calling for his brother, which makes be go BAWWWWWWWW.
Then Condor FINALLY attacks directly, only Yuu manages to counter it AFTER Jack yells out to him for some reason (I NEED SUBSSSSS).
And then Yuu yells out more shit making Rexy loose his cool, we get to see that picture of Fudo papa and Fudo mama; and then Rex gets visited by the spirit apparition of his brother (before the Signer mess). And he looks so saaaaaaad. Sadface!Rex makes me go BAWWW and wish that I could take screenies. D: And all Rudger does is give him this sad little headshake of disapproval which breaks my heart (and Rexy's too). And then he vanishes. D:
And then Yuu's deck starts glowing. YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS PEOPLE. :D So the Crimson Dragon's mark vanishes off of Rex's chest and reappears briefly in its separate parts on Yuu, Jack, Aki, and Ruka.
AND THIS IS WHERE THE DISAPPOINTMENT STARTS.
See, Yuu starts off getting the Tail, but all of a sudden, there's a shuffle of sorts. Yuusei ends up with the HEAD mark and the tail goes to...
Crow.
OH GOD. See, I was wondering what would happen with the head, but I didn't expect Yuu to get it, and I'm disappointed with that. I liked how Yuu had the lowliest part of the dragon, the tail that offered balance, stablity, and was yet underestimated. It summed up his character nicely. The head doesn't fit him at all, honestly, and I expect it's only there because he's THE MAIN CHARACTER.
I have no problems with Crow becoming Signer'd. I can see why people would complain, however, there doesn't seem to be much of a reason with Crow, other than his already defeating a Dark Signer, and potentially because he participated in that three-on-one duel and because Rex is Crow's daddy, for srs. But poor Rua, little red herring is he.
Anyways, the marks then reappear on Yuu's back and it's time for Savior Star Dragon to come out. And then Yuu wins with the combo of Savior Star's effect and a trap that increases its attack points for every Synchro in the grave. And then Savior Star gets surrounded with the Crimson Dragon's energy and counters the Hellgod and seemingly...flies into its great big open mouth or something. D:
And then Yuu finds himself in this outer space thing where all the Dark Signers are floating around unconscious (and not DEAD WHAT) and is confronted with Rex and Rudger. AND BOTH OF THEM ARE SMILING EVER SO SOFTLY AND OH GOD ITS SO BEAUTIFUL IT MAKES ME WANT TO CRY.
They exchange some heartfelt words and then Rexy and Rudger walk off smiling into a bright shining light and disappear, the Crimson Dragon blows up the Hellgod, and the tower and track VANISHES.
Crow and Jack's faces when they thought they were about to drop just make me lawl so hard.
But Savior Star Dragon saves them and everything explodes into a beautiful rain of sparkles.
And then we have this timeskip.
Misty is apparently alive and well in Paris, according to a picture Aki shows Mikage and the twins. Ushio drives up to them to chat, and then all of a sudden this old man freaks out-and it's Carly in a disguise. PFFFFFT. She's flailing about missing out on some sort of scoop about the Dark Signers (so she's lost memories somehow?) And Ruka mentions "Kiryuu-san" and "Bommer-san" so they're alive as well. So apparently Rex and Rudger sacrifice themselves to bring the other DS's back?
SHOW. I AM DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS. As much as I mourned the loss of Kiryuu and Carly, them dying really helped Jack and Yuusei's personalities develop, particularly Jack's. But, this is Yu-Gi-Oh, as much as 5D's tricks us into thinking not. This doesn't mean I'm upset to see them again, but still. GAH.
And then we get to see Yuusei, Jack, and Crow on Satellite's shore, where a bridge has been built connecting the two cities at last (symbolically built AROUND Daedalus, which makes me smile). And the three then prepare to drive across the bridge all symbolic-like, happy and smiling together.
PREVIEW: We get to see Jeager having a nice little hissy fit, Crow has an ugly yellow sweater, and this new villain "Ghost" appears. Whoooo.
