I dunno, I tend to hold video games by a different standard when it comes to continual time spent with characters since, you know, that's kind of the nature of the beast. Then again, I also haven't managed to finish a J-RPG in years so maybe my tolerance has shifted some. Reclusive angry cat type characters should stay that way, though. THEY ARE FAR MORE ENTERTAINING. Really.
